Trouble is part of a person’s everyday life on earth. Trouble has the power to fill a person with unnecessary despair and stress.
The view of life that expects nothing but sunshine and looks only for pleasure and flowers, is an entirely false view and shows supreme ignorance. It is such people who are so sadly disappointed and surprised when trouble breaks into their lives.
These are the people who don’t know God, who know nothing of His disciplinary dealings with His people and who are prayerless.
