“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” [2 Corinthians 4:17]
Some troubles are human in their origin. They arise from secondary causes. They originate with other people, but we are the sufferers. Who has not at some time suffered at the hands of others? But even these are allowed to happen in the order of God’s providence, and may be prayed over.
Why should we not carry our hurts, our wrongs, and our hardships, caused by the acts of others to God in prayer? Are such things outside the realm of prayer? Are they exceptions to the rule of prayer? Not at all.
God can and will lay His hand upon all such events in answer to prayer.
“Father God, I bring all my hurts, wrongs and hardships to You in prayer. Thank You for laying Your hand upon my life to heal my suffering. Amen.”
