“The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.” [Job 1:21]
When we survey all the sources from which trouble comes, we realize two invaluable truths: first, our troubles, in the end, are of the Lord. He is in all of them and is interested in us when they press and bruise us.
Secondly, in our troubles, no matter what the cause, whether of ourselves or people or devils or even God Himself, we are warranted in taking them to God in prayer and seeking to get the greatest spiritual benefits out of them.
“Dear God, I want to see Your face and praise Your name even in the midst of my troubles. Please guide me through Your Holy Spirit. Amen.” [The Power of Prayers]
