“I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it.” [John 14:13-14]
“Whatever you ask” embraces all that concerns God’s praying people. And whatever is left out of “whatever” is left out of prayer. Where will we draw the lines that will leave out or limit the word “whatever”?
Define it, and search out and publish the things that the word does not include. If “whatever” does not include all things, then substitute the word with “anything”.
The possibilities of prayer are unspeakable, but who has learned the lesson of prayer; who realizes and measures up to these possibilities?
Dear God, thank You that we can pray to You about anything. Amen. [The Power of Prayer]
