Separation for Holy Use

“Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.” [Hebrews 10:22]

Consecration is much more than setting oneself apart from sinful things. It is living a holy life as opposed to a worldly life. It is living a life that is devoted to God and His purpose for you. It is devoting all we have to God for His use.

The consecration that meets God’s demands is a complete consecration, with no mental reservation. To make a half-hearted, partial consecration is to make no consecration at all.

It involves our whole being, all we have and all that we are. Everything is definitely and willingly placed in God’s hands for His supreme use.

I place all that I am in Your hands, God. I want my life to be fully set apart for Your plans and purposes. Amen.  [The Power of Prayer]
