영과 진리로 예배하는 예배자를 찾으시는 하나님 아버지께서, 우리의 예배를 통해 올려 드리는 모든 감사와 찬양과 영광을 기쁘게 받으실 줄 믿습니다.
We believe that Heavenly Father, who is looking for worshipers who worship with spirit and truth, will gladly receive all the thanks, praise, and glory that we offer through our worship.
지난 주에는, 지난 주에는 누가복음 24:44-53 을 통하여, 그리스도의 승천의 의미와 우리에게 주는 Benefits 들과 축복에 대해서 공부해 보았습니다. 이번주에는 에베소서 1:15-23을 통하여 그리스도의 보좌에 앉으심에 대해서 같이 공부해 보고 은혜 받을 수 있기를 소망합니다.
Last week, through Luke 24:44-53, we learned the benefits and blessings of His ascension. This week, through Eph 1:15-23, we would like to receive His grace while meditating on His inauguration as King, being seated in the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
- 오늘 읽은 에베소서는 AD 60-61 경 바울이 로마에서 가이사 앞에서의 재판을 앞두고 가택 연금 상태에 있을 때, 에베소 교회 (바울의 2차 전도 여행중, 그리스지역에서의 사역을 마치고 예루살렘을 돌아 안디옥 교회로 돌아가던 중, 에베소에 들렀다가 그곳에 브리스길라와 아굴라 부부를 남겨 두었는데, 그 뒤에 합류한 아볼로와 함께 사역함으로 교회가 생겼고, 그후 바울이 3차 전도 여행때 다시 약속한 대로 에베소에 들러, 2년이상 머물면서, 두란노 서원에서 성경 강해를 했음)에 보낸 서신으로, 에베소 교회의 새 신자들 즉, 유대교, 미신들, 마술과 점성술에 젖어 있던 신자들이 가지고 있던 악령들과 마귀들에 대한 두려움들을 극복할 수 있도록 하나님의 능력, 즉 모든 피조물들을 능가하는 그리스도의 으뜸되심을 가르쳐 주는 동시에 신자들에게 그리스도의 죽음과 부활과 충만함에 참여함으로 술취함, 성문란, 거짓말, 도적질, 언어 폭력등 각종 악덕들을 버리고 기독인으로써 구별된 삶을 살 뿐 만 아니라, 유대인과 이방인들이 그리스도의 교회 안에서 연합하도록 권면하기 위하여 이 편지를 써 보냈습니다.
- Today’s Bible book, the Epistle to the Ephesians, around AD 60-61 when Paul was imprisoned in the house to wait the trial by Caesar in Rome to the Ephesian church which was started by Priscilla and Aquila whom Paul left in Ephesus where he visited in his way to return from the second mission trip to Greece, when Paul shared the Gospel to Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth (Acts 16:14), and he stayed there for two years to preach in the hall of Tyrannus, was written to explain about the supremacy of the power of God, i.e., the supremacy of Christ over all the creation, especially the evil and demonic powers to deal with the fear of new believers who were converted from a background in Judaism, local religion, magic, and astrology and also to exhort believers to live in a distinct Christian lifestyle free from vices such as drunkenness, sexual immorality, lying, stealing, and bitterness, etc., by participating in His suffering, crucifixion and resurrection, after Jews and gentiles were united in Him.
- 에베소서는 1장 하나님의 구속에 대한 찬양과 중보기도, 2장 그리스도 안에서 지어진 새사람을 통한 화목, 3장 복음에 대한 바울의 청지기 직분과 중보기도, 4장 그리도 안에서 하나됨에 대한 권면과 그리스도 안에서의 정체성과 생활 양식, 5장 1-21절 빛의 자녀로서 지혜와 성령 안에서 삶, 5장22절-6장9절 페러네시스 (Paraenesis) 즉 실제적인 삶의 문제를 다루는 도덕적이고 종교적인 권면들, 6장 10-20 어둠의 권세를 능가하는 하나님의 능력, 6장 21-24 결론과 축도로 구성되어 있습니다.
- The Ephesians are composed of 6 chapters; chapter 1 about praising to God on the redemptive works of Triune God and the first intercessory prayer of Pau, chapter 2 about reconciliation in new humanity of Jesus between Jews and Gentiles, chapter 3 His stewardship for the Gospel and His second intercessory prayer, chapter 4 about the exhortation of unification in Christ and the identity and new lifestyle in Christ, 5:1-21 new life in wisdom and the Spirit as the children of light, 5:22-6:9 paraenesis, i.e., moral and religious exhortation toward practical life issues, 6:10-20 about the supreme power of God against the evil or demonic powers, and 6:21-24 conclusion and benediction.
- 오늘 본문 1:15-23 을 이해하기 위해서는 바로 전 paragraph 3-14 의 내용을 먼저 이해해야 하는데, 3-14절에서 바울은 삼위일체 하나님께서 우리에게 베푸신 그리스도 안에 있는 신령한 복으로 말미암아 하나님께 찬양을 올려드려야 한다고 권면하는데, 즉, 성부 하나님께서 우리를 그의 자녀삼으시기 위하여 주권적으로 택하신 것과, 우리가 그리스도의 죽으심과 부활로 말미암은 그의 구속을 받은 것과, 또 성령님께서 주님께서 이루어 놓으신 모든 은택들을 우리에게 보증하시고 또 적용해 나가심에 대하여 감사 찬양하라고 권면한 후, 오늘의 본문 15-23 에서는 하나님께서 성도들에게 지혜와 계시의 영을 주셔서, 우리를 부르심 안에 있는 소망이 무엇인지, 성도들이 받을 기업이 얼마나 풍성하고 영광스러운 것인지, 그리고 그것을 이루시는 하나님의 능력이 얼마나 큰지를 알게 해 주시기를 중보기도하고 있는데, 그 하나님의 능력은 예수 그리스도를 죽은 자 가운데서 일으키셨으며, 또한 그를 하나님의 보좌 우편에 앉히사, 이 세상과 오는 세상에서 모든 만물과 권세들을 다스리는 권세를 주셨다고 말씀하면서, 교회는 그의 몸으로 만물을 충만케 하시는 충만함이 거한다고 말씀하고 있습니다.
- In order to understand Today’s Bible text, we have to know first the previous paragraph, vv.3-14. In vv.3-14, Paul exhorts to praise God due to the spiritual blessings in Christ that Triune God gave us, i.e., God’s sovereign election to adopt us His children, Jesus’ redemption of us through His crucifixion and resurrection, and the seal and application of the Holy Spirit of all the benefits which our Lord earned for us. And then in Today Bible verses, vv.15-23, Paul intercedes that God may give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know what hope is in our calling, how rich and glorious the inheritance is, and how great the power of God is as with His power, God raised Christ from the dead, seated Him in His right hand to give all the authority in this world and the world to come over all the creations and powers, where Church is the fullness that fills all things, as His body in the world.
- 오늘 본문 말씀을 통해서 몇가지 은혜를 나누기 원하는 데, 첫번째로는 성령님께서는 하나님의 택자인 우리에게 먼저 오셔서, 우리를 중생하게 하심으로 우리 마음속에 믿음의 씨앗을 뿌리셔서, 예수 그리스도를 구주로 고백하게 하셨을 뿐 만 아니라 (고전 12;3) 또한 지혜와 계시의 영으로 우리가 하나님께서 우리를 위해 예비하신 기업의 풍성함과 영광을 깨달아 알게 해 주시는 분이신 바, 우리가 매일 매일 주 안에서 그 은혜의 풍성함을 더 알게 됨으로 예수 그리스도의 장성한 분량에 이르기까지 자라나 그러한 부르심의 소망안에서 하루 하루를 견딜 뿐 만 아니라 오히려 넉넉히 이겨낼 수 있기를 소망합니다. 그리고, 이 모든 신령한 복을 우리에게 주시기 위하여, 이 땅에 오셔서 고난 받으시고, 죽으신 우리 주 예수 그리스도, 독생하신 하나님의 아들을 그의 능력으로 죽음에서 일으키사, 하늘나라로 불러 올리사, 보좌 우편에 앉히시고, 이 세상과 오는 세상에서 만물을 다스리는 권세를 주신 하나님의 크신 능력이 창세 전에 그의 자녀로 삼으시기 위하여 우리를 택하시고, 믿음으로 말미암아 그리스도와 연합하게 된 우리에게, 성령님을 통하여 그리스도께서 이루시고 예비하신 모든 구속과 영원한 영광의 복을 적용하셔서 마침내 그리스도 안에서 완성되게 하실 것이라는 사실을 우리가 알고, 그의 몸된 교회로서, 만물을 충만케 하시는 그 충만함을 이 세상에 흘려냄으로 하나님께 영광을 올려드리며 모든 나라와 방언들이 하나님을 찬양하고 예배드릴 수 있기를 소망합니다.
- Through today’s Bible verses, we would like to learn few things. Firstly, I hope we may know that not only, when we believe, the Holy Spirit already came to dwell in us, His elect, to confess our faith in Him as our Savior and Lord (1 Cor 12:3) by regenerating us and sowing the seed of faith, but also, the Holy Spirit, as the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, makes us realize how rich the grace in Him is to grow in His full knowledge and endure and conquer every daily challenges in the hope of the calling in Him. And also I hope we know that the power of God through which God raised our Lord who was suffered and died in the cross and seated Him in His right to reign this world and the world to come, works in us also through the Holy Spirit who applies the merits which our Lord Jesus earned for us to accomplish the redemption of His people and give the ultimate glory in the heaven, and that it will consummate us in His lordship so that we may flow out the fullness of His blessings into the world to glorify Him and to worship to praise Him in all nations and tongues.
- 기도하옵기는, 사랑하는 우리 KPCM 자녀들과 가족들과 교회에, 지혜와 계시의 영이신 성령님을 통하여 우리에게 주신 하나님의 은혜의 풍성함과 영광을 깨닫고 하나님의 자녀로써 하나님을 찬양하고 예배하는 우리 모두가 되기를 소망합니다.
- I pray that His beloved KPCM children, families and church may recognize the richness and glory of His grace through the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to praise and worship God the Father as His children during this third week of Easter season.

Q1 When you were very young, I wonder how you feel if you were fallen down from the height? I am sure we feel scared, aren’t we? It makes me sweat already by thinking it. But what if your mighty dad hold you strong and throw you over his head? Have you enjoyed it with your faither? How did you feel at that time? Would you share your thoughts or idea with your friends? 여러분들이 어렸을때 아빠 키보다 더 높은 곳에서 떨어진다면 어떨 것 같아요! 예. 너무 너무 무서울 것 같아요… 그쵸… 아휴 생각만 해도 땀이 나네요… 그런데 여러분 만약에 여러분들의 아빠가 여러분들을 꼭 잡고는 아빠 머리 위로 휙하고 던져 올려주시면 어떤가요? 해 보신 적이 있으신가요? 그럴때는 어떤 마음이 들든가요? 여러분들의 마음과 생각을 친구들에게 나누어 주시면 좋겠어요.
(이 질문을 통하여, 우리 아이들이 든든한 아빠의 손에 붙들여 있으면, 어렵고 힘든 상황에서도 오히려 기쁘고 즐거운 마음을 가질 수도 있다는 것을 알 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 어떤 일을 혼자 하느냐 아니면 듬직하고 힘쎈 아빠와 함께 하느냐에 따라 무서울수도 재미있을 수도 있다는 것을 이해할 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 다양한 생각과 의견과 감정과 경험을 표현할 때 공감해 주시면서, 때때로 생각의 이유도 물어 보시면서 아이들과 적극적 경청과 공감의 대화를 나누실 수 있으시기를 소망합니다.)
(Through this question, I hope our children may understand that we may feel happy when our strong father holds us and is with us, even in the hardest moment of our life and know that whether we can feel fear or happiness depends on with whom we are doing, by ourselves, or with our strong and faithful faither. When your children express diverse thoughts, opinions, emotions, or experiences, I hope you may empathize with them to enjoy the conversation of empathy through active listening, sometimes asking their thoughts behind.)
Q2 As such, even though we cannot see it, but do you know that Jesus our Lord and King now is sitting in the right hand of God the Father Almighty not only to reign all the world with mighty authority, but also to provide all the power to overcome all the challenges which we have to go through? If then, I wonder how you feel when you will face up with some difficulties while you study or live and in what attitude we have to stand? Could you share your thoughts with your friends? 그러면 여러분! 비록 지금 우리 눈에는 보이지 않지만, 예수님께서 지금 하늘나라에서 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셔서 하나님께서 주신 권세를 가지시고 왕으로 다스리고 계시면서, 우리를 붙들고 계실 뿐 만 아니라, 우리가 앞으로 겪을 모든 어려움과 도전들에서 우리가 반드시 이길 수 있도록 모든 능력을 우리에게 공급해 주시는 것을 아시나요? 그렇다면, 우리가 앞으로 공부하면서, 또 살아가면서, 때때로 어려움이 있을 때에 어떤 자세로 어떤 마음가짐을 가지면 좋을까요? 여러분들이 가진 생각을 친구들에게 나누어 주셨으면 좋겠어요.
(이 질문을 통하여, 우리 자녀들이 하나님께서는 크신 능력으로 우리를 붙들고 계시며, 예수님께서는 하늘나라에서 왕으로 모든 만물을 다스리시며 또한 우리를 위해 기도하실 뿐 만 아니라, 성령님께서는 이미 우리 마음에 오셔서 성령님의 능력으로 우리를 도와주신다는 사실을 알고, 무슨 일을 만나든지 담대한 마음으로 잘 이겨내고 승리할 수 있기를 소망합니다. 다양한 생각과 의견과 감정과 경험을 표현할 때 공감해 주시면서, 때때로 생각의 이유도 물어 보시면서 아이들과 적극적 경청과 공감의 대화를 나누실 수 있으시기를 소망합니다.)

Q3 While we are going through the third week of the Easter season, 2021, I hope that the power of His resurrection may be with us through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us and get His victory which He achieved already and even enjoy it in advance with faith in Him.
