영과 진리로 예배하는 예배자를 찾으시는 하나님 아버지께서, 우리의 예배를 통해 올려 드리는 모든 감사와 찬양과 영광을 기쁘게 받으실 줄 믿습니다.
We believe that Heavenly Father, who is looking for worshipers who worship with spirit and truth, will gladly receive all the thanks, praise, and glory that we offer through our worship.
지난 주에는, 딤후 2:1-13 말씀을 통하여, 바울이 영적으로 낳은 아들 디모데에게 마지막 순교를 앞두고 예수 그리스도의 좋은 병사가 되어 충성된 자들을 제자 삼으라는 당부를 하였는데, 지난 2000년 이렇게 제자삼는 사역을 통하여 하나님 나라는 전진해 왔고, 오늘 우리도 같은 도전을 받고 있는 바, 부르심에 순종하여 승리의 면류관과 상급과 영광을 누릴 수 있기를 소망합니다. 이번 주에는 누가 15:11-24 말씀을 통하여, 잃어버린 자를 애타 찾으시고 회개하고 돌아오기를 기다리시는 아버지의 마음을 헤아려 보고, 함께 은혜 받는 시간이 되기를 소망합니다.
Last week, through 2 Tim 2:1-13, we saw that Paul, waiting for the martyr, entrusted the mission to make His disciples the faithful one as His good soldier and learned that last 2000 years, Christianity has been advancing through those who make His disciple after being His disciple, so that I hope you all may receive the victor’s crown and reward and glory by obeying His great commission to make His disciples. This week, through Luke 15:11-24, we would like to see how compassionately God our Father has been waiting for His people to repent and return to Him to receive grace.
- 누가복음은 누가가 AD 60년경 데오빌로에게 편지형식을 써서 보낸 복음서인데, 서두 (1:1-4)에 밝히는 것처럼 누가는 예수님에 관한 일들을 근원부터 자세히 살펴 일이 일어난 순서를 따라 누가 복음서를 쓰고자 했습니다. 누가 복음에는 특히 하나님의 구원 계획의 실현체로서의 하나님의 나라가 특별히 강조하고 있는데, 예수님과 그의 제자들은 잃은 버린 자를 찾아 구원하는 사역에 부르심을 받았으며, 회개는 하나님의 나라로 들어가는 길이며, 제자도는 그 하나님 나라 백성됨의 증거로 설명되고 있습니다. 특히 누가복음에 나타난 하나님 나라는 사회와 인종과 국경을 초월하여 하나님의 우주적 구원의 역사를 드러내고 있으며 이 모든 하나님 나라 사역에는 모두 성령님의 역사가 함께 하고 있음을 알 수 있습니다.
- The gospel of Luke is a gospel which was written around AD60 in the form of the letter to Theophilus, intending to write an orderly account of Jesus after following all things closely as written in vv.1:1-4. Especially the gospel of Luke focuses on the kingdom of God as the fulfillment of God’s plan for the salvation of the lost which is the mission given to Christ and His disciples in which the repentance is the path to it and the discipleship is the proof of citizenship. The kingdom of God in the gospel of Luke transcends social, ethnic and national barriers to declare the universal ministry of God, founded on the work of the Holy Spirit.
- 누가복음 15장 말씀에는 잃어 버린 자에 대한 비유가 세가지 즉, 백마리 양중 잃어 버린 한 마리 양을 찾아 다니는 목자, 열 드라크마중 잃어버린 한 드라크마를 찾는 여인, 그리고 무례히 자기 분깃을 요구하여 그 재산을 가지고 집을 나간 한 아들을 애타게 기다리는 아버지 비유가 나오는데, 백마리중 한마리를 잃어버렸다가 (1/100) 찾게 되자 하늘나라에 기쁨이, 그 다음 열 드라크마중 한 드라크마를 잃어버렸다가 (1/10) 찾게 되자 하나님의 사자들 앞에서 기쁨이, 그리고 마지막으로 두 아들중 한 아들을 잃어버렸다가 (1/2) 찾게 되자, 하늘 본향에서 축하 잔치가 벌어지는 것으로 점증하는 기쁨을 표현하는 동시에, 각각의 비유는 잃어버린 영혼을 찾아 다니는 목자는 예수님, 등불을 켜고 잃어버린 동전을 찾는 여인은 성령님, 그리고 잃어버린 아들을 기다리시고 또 회개하고 돌아오면 다 용서하시고 다시 화해를 이루시고 기뻐하시는 아버지는 하나님 아버지를 비유하여, 구원에 대한 삼위 하나님의 사역과 하나님의 마음을 잘 나타내고 있습니다.[1] 그래서 스펄전은 세가지 비유를 같이 설교하여야 구원에 대한 삼위 하나님의 사역을 온전히 드러낼 수 있다고도 하였습니다.
- In Luke 15, Jesus teaches three parables; the parable of a lost sheep among hundred sheep and the shepherd who seeks the lost, the parable of a lost coin among ten silver coins and the woman with lamp who seeks the lost, and the parable of a lost son among two sons and the father who has being waiting for his lost son who rudely asked for his portion and brought and spent them all. While three parables express the bigger pleasure to find the lost, as joy in the heaven after finding one lost among hundred (1/100), joy before the angels of God after finding one lost among ten (1/10), and feast and celebration in the heavenly home after finding one lost among two (1/2), the shepherd who diligently seeks the lost corresponds to Jesus, the woman with the lamp who lights the lamp and sweeps the floor to search carefully corresponds to the Holy Spirit, and the father who is craving for his son corresponds to God the Father so that these parables draw the Triune ministries and how God pleases after finding the lost. Spurgeon says that these three parables should be preached together to express holistic ministries of Triune God.
- 특히 오늘 본문 11-32절에서 아버지에 대해서 묵상해 보기를 원합니다. 31절에서 큰 아들에게 “너는 나와 항상 함께 있어 내 것이 다 네 것”이라고 말씀 하셨는데, 이 말씀은 실은 작은 아들에게도 적용되는 말씀이었습니다. 아버지와 함께 있을 때 아버지의 모든 것은 아들들의 것이기 때문입니다. 그러나 작은 아들은 아버지를 떠나 스스로 독립 하기를 원했고 무례히도 아버지의 재산중 분깃을 달라고 해서 받아 처분하여 아버지 곁을 떠납니다. 아버지의 유산을 받는 길은 아버지와 함께 함을 전제합니다. 그러나 아버지를 떠나기로 결정한 아들에게 아버지는 그의 분깃을 내어 주셨습니다. 하나님을 반역한 죄를 지은 아담과 이브에게 가죽옷을 지어 입히시고 원시 복음을 주셨던 하나님 아버지처럼… 그리고 아버지는 그의 아들, 목자 예수를 보내셔서 잃어버린 양들을 찾아 어깨에 메고 오라고 하셨고 (15:3-7), 또 그의 영을 보내셔서 등불을 켜고 온 집안을 쓸며 잃어버린 자들을 찾게 하셨으며 (15:8-10) 애타는 마음으로 잃어버린 아들이 돌아오기를 기다리시다, 아들이 멀리서 보이자 측은한 마음으로 달려가 아들을 안고 입맞춘 후, 새 옷과 새 신발을 신기시고 반지를 끼워주신 후, 잔치를 베풀며 음악과 춤을 추며 기뻐해 주시는 아버지이십니다.
- Especially we would like to meditate on who the Father is through today’s text. As spoke in v.31 “Son, you are always with me and all that is mine is yours,” this is the truth to the second son too since everything of the father will be inherited to the son who will be with the father. But the younger son wanted to be independent from the father and asked for giving him his share and left his father after gathering them. The share from the father presumes that the son has to be with his father, but the father decided to give him his share even though he knew that his son will leave him. This scene overlapped to me God the Father who gave the proto-evangelium and clothed Adam and Eve who betrayed Him with garments of skins. After that, the father sent the Shepherd Jesus to find the lost, laying it on the shoulder after finding it and sent His Spirit to find the lost, lighting the lamp and sweeping the floor, and then has been craving for the lost so that when seeing the lost son still a long way off, He ran and embraced and kissed him with compassion and clothed with new garment and shoes and put a ring on his hand and then rejoiced with feast and celebration with music and dancing. This is our Father!
- 오늘 본문 말씀을 통해서 몇가지 은혜를 나누기 원하는 데, 첫번째 오늘 본문을 통해서 인간은 어떤 존재인지 그리고 하나님은 어떤 분이신지에 대해 생각해 보기를 원합니다. 이 세가지 비유에서 보면 우리 인간은 자기가 있어야 할 곳이 어딘지 그리고 자기가 양무리와 우리로 부터 얼마나 멀리 나와 있는지도 모른체 이곳 저곳 목초지를 찾아 끈임없이 방황하는 길 잃어버린 양! 여주인의 손에서 떨어져 어둡고 먼지 가득한 곳에 있어, 주인이 불을 밝히고 깨끗하게 쓸지 않으면 스스로는 발견되어 질 수 없는 동전처럼, 구원의 빛이 비춰지지 않으면 스스로는 발견되어 질 수도 찾아질 수도 없는 존재로 묘사되고 있으며 세번째 탕자 비유에서는 창조주 아버지를 떠나 스스로 독립적으로 살겠다며 무례히 아버지의 유산마저 달라고 하여 아버지를 떠나지만 세상에서 온갖 고난을 당하는 존재로 묘사되고 있습니다. 반면 예수님은 그 죄인을 찾아 등에 들쳐 없고 십자가에 달리신 분, 성령님은 그 죄인의 어두운 마음에 불을 밝혀 주시고 정결케 빗질을 하셔서 새롭게 회복시키시는 분, 그리고 아버지 하나님은 끝까지 기다리시다, 돌아오면 그를 의롭다 하시며 (새 옷과 신발을 신겨주심) 그의 지위를 회복시켜 주시고 (반지를 끼워주심, 즉 화해와 양자 삼으심), 잔치를 베풀고 함께 기뻐하시는 분으로 묘사되고 있습니다. 그런데 여기서 하나님의 기다리심을 그저 소극적인 기다림으로만 이해하지 말아야 합니다. 17절에 정신을 차려보니 (스스로 돌이켜라는 번역은 오해의 소지가 있는 번역) 자기의 비참함과 아버지 집의 풍성한 은혜를 깨닫고 18절 회개하고 아버지 집으로 돌아갈 마음을 먹었다고 말하고 있는데, 이것은 그저 둘째 아들 스스로가 깨닫고 결심하게 된 것이 아닙니다. 실은 모든 섭리를 통하여 아들의 마음을 움직이시고, 은혜가 풍성하신 하나님을 생각나게 해 주심으로 마음을 돌이키게 해 주시는데, 그러한 은밀한 일들은 인간 편에서 보면, 하나님께서 인격적으로 우리를 대하셔서 마치 자기 스스로 깨닫게 된 것처럼 생각하게 되지만, 실은 돌이키고 난 후 점점 하나님을 알아가다 보면 어느 순간 이런 하나님의 세심한 인격적 섭리가 있었음을 깨닫고 감사하게 되는 것입니다. 우리 모두에게 이런 하나님의 은혜가 깨달아지는 복이 있기를 기도합니다. 두번째 아버지의 눈은 어디를 향하고 있을지 생각해보기를 원합니다. 열손가락 깨물어 안 아픈 손가락이 없다는 옛말도 있지만 베인 손가락이 있으면 성한 손가락보다 더 아플 것입니다. 오늘 본문에 나오는 세 비유 모두 잃어버린 아들에 대한 하나님의 애처로운 마음이 잘 드러나 있습니다. 따라서, 믿는 우리들은 하나님의 마음을 알아, 주님을 쫓아 잃어버린 영혼을 찾아 하나님을 기쁘시게 할 수 있기를 소망합니다. 그리고 우리가 그렇게 하나님의 마음을 알고 하나님의 뜻을 쫓을 때에 하나님의 기쁨이 또한 우리의 것이 되는 복을 누릴 수 있을 줄로 믿습니다. 그리고 마지막으로 돌아온 탕자의 겉옷은 아버지께서 갈아 입혀 주셨지만, 아직 더러워진 몸을 샤워도 하고 또 속옷도 갈아 입어야 하는데 이를 성화라고 합니다. 그런데 성화도 칭의와 마찬가지로 하나님의 은혜로 이루어집니다. 다만 다른 점이라면 택자를 하나님의 성화에 참여시켜 주신다는 것입니다. 즉 택자는 은혜의 수단인 말씀과 성례와 기도를 통하여 하나님의 사역에 참여하게 되는데 이러한 과정에서 택자는 순종함을 통하여 성령님의 인도하심을 따라가는 과정에서, 우리가 예수님을 점점 닮아가게 되는 것입니다.
- Through today’s Bible verses, we would like to receive some grace. First, I hope we may recognize who we, human beings are and who God is, I mean, in these parables, the human being is depicted as the one who cannot be found and saved by himself/herself as the lost sheep who is wandering on and on to find the green pasture, not knowing where he/she has to be or how far he/she is now from sheep fold and also as the lost coin which is lost from the hand of woman and cannot be found without the lamp and sweeping of the woman and also the one who wanted to escape from God the Creator, asking for his/her share rudely and has been living in the midst of pains and sufferings in the world, while Jesus is depicted as the Shepherd who lays them on His shoulder to be crucified in the cross, the Holy Spirit as the One who enlightens and cleans and regenerates his/her mind and the Father as the One who waits for His children to return and when His son returns He will justify (clothing new garment and shoes) recover his position as His son (putting a ring in his hand, reconciliation and adoption), feast to celebrate with music and dancing. Here we should not understand His waiting as just passive waiting without doing anything, I mean, even though in v.17 the son decided to return to his father after repenting and recognizing the grace of his father at home when the son came back to his sense (the interpretation that the son repented by himself seems to go too much), this does not happen by himself. Under his repentance and returning home, there is God’s providential care for His son. In the view of human, this secret work of God is hidden so that human thinks that he/she returned by himself/herself, but long time later after conversion, he/she can realize that this happened due to the hidden grace of God. I hope you may know His providential care for your salvation to thank God. Secondly, we would like to know whom God is looking for. As we feel more pain in the cutting finger, even though there is an old saying that there are no fingers that are not sore when biting ten fingers, the compassionate heart of God toward the lost is well expressed in all three parables so that we, once His lost children yet found by Him, have to know God’s will and please Him by finding the lost. I believe that when we do follow Him, His joy will fill us and we may enjoy this blessings with our Father. And finally even though our Father clothed us with new garment and shoes of righteous Jesus, we have to know that we need to take showers and to replace inner clothes. We call this as our sanctification. We have to know that this sanctification is the work of God, as the justification, but the difference is that God will invite us to participate in His work, i.e., the elect will participate through the means of grace; Bible reading, Sacraments and prayer so that we will become more and more like Jesus while we obey to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
- 기도하옵기는, 사랑하는 우리 KPCM 자녀들과 가족들과 교회에, 부활절기 여덟번째 주일을 맞아 하나님의 크신 은혜를 깨달을 뿐 만 아니라, 회심하여 주님의 성품을 덧입는 은혜를 누릴 수 있게 되시기를 기도합니다.
- I pray that His beloved KPCM children, families and church may enjoy the grace of God to be more and more like Jesus through conversion after recognizing His grace in our salvation in the eighth week of the Easter season.

Is it easy to go to him/her to be friend of them? Would you share your thoughts or idea with your friends? 여러분들은 학교에서나 교회에서 좋은 친구들이 많이 있지요. 그런데 여러분들이 생각하기에 불쌍한 친구가 있으면 어떤 생각이 드시나요? 친구가 되어 주기 위해 그들에게 가까이 다가 가기가 쉽던가요? 여러분들의 마음과 생각을 친구들에게 나누어 주시면 좋겠어요.

Q2 According to today’s Bible verses, it is said that we were reconciled with God and have peace with others through being transformed into new humanity in Christ. I wonder how it looks like in our daily life at church or in the community, the life of ministry of reconciliation?
