“The Lord disciplines those He loves, and He punishes everyone He accepts as a son.” [Hebrews 12:6]
Trouble belongs to the disciplinary part of the government of God. This is a life where the human race is on probation. It is a season of trial.
Trouble does not always arise to punish a person. It belongs to what the Scriptures call ” chastening”. Strictly speaking, punishment does not belong to this life. God wants to discipline His people. Disciplining is a corrective process in His plans concerning man.
It is because of this that prayer comes in when trouble arises. Prayer should be part of every aspect of your day-to-day life!
“Oh Father, help me to see that disciplining from You is a corrective process in Your plans concerning me. Amen.”
